if i make a deposit to a certain college that accepted me does that mean i have to go to that school?

there are 2 Colleges (university of massachusetts and albany) that accepted me as a freshmen and ask for a deposit for admissions. if i send a deposit to either school can i decide not to go there afterwards and would i be able to get the money back?

No. They’ll keep your deposit either way and consider it a “processing fee.”
