The Writers of Passage Scholarship is a scholarship program available to students from a Historically Black College or university or simply a predominantly black college with a scholarship worth up to $5,000.  The program involves writing an essay and the deadline for this program is on March 3rd.  Also, the unviersities or Colleges where the winners are studying will also receive a $20,000 grand from the Sallie Mae Fund.
