
What good universities are there in Toronto?
I’ve been looking around on the internet for different universities in Toronto but it’s so confusing and I thought it better to ask someone who actually properly knows the city. Could anyone give me a brief rundown of the different universities and what they specialise in? Thank you.
York University is a very popular university for Journalism, Arts and some Informational Technology studies.
Ryerson University is very known for business and medical studies.
The most top-ranked university of all is the University of Toronto. It has a very known reputation for foreign students. There are also campuses in Scarborough to the east and Mississauga to the west of the city.
OCAD University is best known for graphic design, drama and other stuff. It’s legal name though is the Ontario College of Arts and Design.
Outside of Toronto, there is the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT). It’s known for information technology.
